Nagpur. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday said the government is working round-the-clock for all sections of the society and the state will be a USD 1 trillion stakeholder in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making India a USD 5 trillion economy.
Fadnavis was addressing a gathering here after unfurling the national flag in Nagpur on the occasion of Independence Day. He said that the Maharashtra government is working round the clock, seven days a week for all sections of the society. Fadnavis said, the government will work to bring change in the lives of the people. In Prime Minister Modi’s dream of making India a 5 trillion dollar economy, Maharashtra will be a 1 trillion dollar stakeholder.
Fadnavis cited a Deutsche Bank report, which described Maharashtra’s economy as one of the most solid in the country. The Deputy Chief Minister said that by taking all sections of the society along, Maharashtra’s economy would not only be solid but also strong. He also appreciated the Maharashtra Police, especially the Gadchiroli Police Force, for receiving 32 (gallantry) medals.
Earlier, talking to reporters, Fadnavis lauded Prime Minister Modi for bringing together all sections of the society and the central government for launching Har Ghar Tiranga and Meri Mati, Mera Desh campaign. He said, I am sure that India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will fulfill the dreams of the last man of the society and move forward on the path of progress.
