Mumbai According to the Economic Survey 2022-23 tabled in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, the state’s economy is expected to grow at a rate of 6.8 per cent in the financial year 2022-23. Significantly, the Indian economy is estimated to grow at a rate of seven percent in the same period. State Finance Minister Devendra Fadnavis tabled the Economic Survey in the Assembly a day before the presentation of the budget.
According to this, there will be an increase of 10.2 percent in the agriculture and allied activities sector in the state. The industry sector is expected to grow by 6.1 percent and the services sector by 6.4 percent, according to the review. The survey noted that Maharashtra has the highest average share of 14 per cent in the national GDP at current prices.
