Dudheshwar Nath Temple
According to the local people, the Shivling worshiped at the Dudheshwar Nath Temple in Ghaziabad is about 5,000 years old. The temple has beautiful white architecture, which is further exemplified by the lavish decorations on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
Chhatarpur Shiv Temple
The name of this temple is actually Shri Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Temple. The Dargah is just 4 kms from the Qutub complex and is surrounded by beautiful monuments in the historic Mehrauli area. The temple is spread over an area of about 70 acres and has idols of many deities like Goddess Katyayani, Shiva-Parvati and Hanuman. Apart from Mahashivaratri, other festivals like Navratri, Dussehra and Janmashtami are celebrated here on a grand scale.
