New Delhi (Best Hindu News): Union Heavy Industries Minister Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey will inaugurate the one-day program ‘Towards Panchamrit Ki Ore’ being organized on the automotive sector at the International Center for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in Manesar on Saturday.
In line with the announcements made by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at COP 26 – ‘Panchamrit ki Saugaat’, the event is being organized to highlight the innovative steps taken by the Ministry to promote the growth of the automotive industry in the country. Is.
On this occasion, Mr. Pandey and Union Minister of State Krishan Pal will inaugurate the exhibition, ICAT Incubation Center. The event was attended by leaders from the automotive industry, senior government officials from NITI Aayog, Ministry of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Participation of officials, academia, startups and students will also be seen.
The conference also plans to organize a dedicated interactive session with officials from the Ministry of Automotive Industry and Heavy Industry to deliberate on the implementation of the schemes of Ministry of Heavy Industry PLI-Auto, PLI ACC, Capital Goods-II and FAME. The schemes aim to develop an ecosystem of innovation that will enable green and clean mobility solutions and help reduce carbon footprint.
Technical sessions will focus on the development of technologies for hydrogen, electric vehicles, biofuels and gas-powered vehicles. These will deliberate on the policy and regulatory ecosystem for rapid adaptation of these new technologies and help shape the future. The ICAT Incubation Center will nurture startups and provide them initial support in the development of market-ready products.
