Mahindra signs agreement with Adani Total Energy to expand EV charging infra

New Delhi : Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has tied up with a unit of Adani Total Gas to set up electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the country. The leading automobile company said in a statement on Thursday that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard with Adani Total Energy E-Mobility Limited (ATEL).
According to the statement, the MoU sets a blueprint for the creation of a comprehensive EV charging infrastructure across the country. Additionally, the partnership will also include offering e-mobility solutions to provide seamless access to the charging network for customers covering discovery, availability, navigation and transactions, M&M said. It said that with this collaboration, electric vehicle XUV400 customers will now have access to more than 1,100 chargers.
Vijay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M, said, this alliance is a cornerstone in expanding the EV charging infrastructure. This ensures that our customers enjoy seamless access to the charging network and digital integration for an unparalleled EV experience.
