Mahira Khan dismisses rumors of pregnancy and exit from OTT project

Mumbai Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who was seen with Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan in the 2017 film ‘Raees’, has denied the news of her pregnancy.
Recently, a user on Reddit had written in a post that the actress is pregnant after marriage with Pakistani entrepreneur Salim Karim.
It was also claimed in the post that Mahira has backed out of Netflix’s ‘Jo Bache Hain Sang Samet Lo’ and another film.
“I received word from a close source that she has dropped a major film as well as a prestigious Netflix project because she is expecting her second child in August or September,” the Reddit post reads.
Speaking to ‘The Express Tribune’, Mahira issued a clarification and said that there is no truth in the above claims.
The actress told ‘The Express Tribune’, “It is not true that I am pregnant. “I haven’t given up on the Netflix series.”
Mahira and Salim got married in Pakistan on October 1.
The actress also shared pictures on her Instagram, which soon went viral. Her first marriage was with Ali Askari and she also has a son from this marriage. The couple separated in 2015.
