Market recovered from fall in early trading, know the condition of Sensex and Nifty – Dainik Savera Times

Mumbai: Amid the rise in global markets and inflow of foreign capital, domestic stock markets appeared to be recovering from the previous session’s decline in early trade on Wednesday. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex rose 237.36 points to 72,249.41 points in early trade. National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty also rose by 74.25 points to reach 21,891.70 points.

Among Sensex companies, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid, Nestle, IndusInd Bank, Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro were major gainers. On the other hand, shares of JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Hindustan Unilever and Tata Motors declined. In Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi, China’s Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng were trading with gains.

American stock markets closed with gains on Tuesday. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) made net purchases of shares worth Rs 1,421.48 crore on Tuesday. Global oil benchmark Brent crude fell 0.17 percent to US$87.23 per barrel. On Tuesday, Sensex fell 736.37 points to 72,012.05 and Nifty slipped 238.25 points to close at 21,817.45.
