Milma Inks ties up with NDDB Calf

Kochi (Best Hindu News): Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), popularly known as Milma brand, has signed an agreement with National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) KAF Limited to manage its newly built State Central Quality Control Laboratory located at Ernakulam.
The State Central Quality Control Laboratory of MILMA is located at Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers Union (ERCMPU) headquarter at Edapally. Which was constructed with the assistance of about ten crore rupees from the Central Government. In a release issued on Thursday, it was informed that the lab is fully equipped to test all food products, animal feed and mineral mixtures.
As per the agreement, the management of the operations of Milma Lab will be handed over to NDDB CAFE Limited for a period of ten years. Rajesh Subramaniam, Managing Director, NDDB Coffee Limited and Asif K Yusuf IAS, Managing Director, MILMA signed the agreement on July 18 at NDDB, Anand in Gujarat in the presence of Dr. Meenesh C Shah, Chairman, NDDB, KS Mani, Chairman, MILMA and MT Jayan, President, Ernakulam Regional Union.
KCMMF established the State Central Quality Control Laboratory in the premises of Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers Union Limited (ERCMPU) headquarter with the financial support of Government of India under National Program for Dairy Development (NPDD) scheme. NDDB CAF Limited will make this lab a referral lab for Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
