The party along with Bahujan Samaj Party is trying to bring back its old glory days in Punjab. BJP President JP Nadda has already said that BJP has neither asked any party to leave the NDA nor will it ask to come, it is up to the leaders of these two parties to decide whether they want to come back with the BJP. Although JDU and Akali Dal are continuously adopting the stand of denying the news of going again with BJP, but in the meantime, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself taking command, both Nitish Kumar and Badal family or should say that JDU and Shiromani Akali Reminding the party of the sacrifice of the BJP, it has been said that the NDA is not made of selfishness but with a spirit of sacrifice.

Describing the NDA as an alliance made in the spirit of sacrifice, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a meeting of clusters of NDA MPs on Monday that despite having less number of MLAs, the BJP made Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister in Bihar. He also reminded the Badal family of the BJP’s sacrifice, saying that despite having a sizeable number of BJP MLAs in the SAD-BJP coalition government in Punjab, the BJP did not ask for the post of Deputy Chief Minister. To recall, in the SAD-BJP coalition government in Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal was the Chief Minister and his son Sukhbir Singh Badal was the Deputy Chief Minister. At that time, many BJP leaders were saying in hushed tones that according to the established tradition of alliance between political parties, BJP has a natural claim on the post of Deputy Chief Minister and both the posts of Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister belong to the same party or rather the same family. But giving importance to the alliance with the Akali Dal, the BJP high command at that time accepted Parkash Singh Badal’s decision to make Sukhbir Singh Badal the Deputy Chief Minister, rejecting the talk of its own local leaders. But the Prime Minister has tried to give a big political message by telling this story of BJP’s sacrifice in the NDA meeting on Monday.

It is believed that whatever the Prime Minister said by remembering Nitish Kumar and Akali Dal, it is a clear message to both these political parties that the doors of BJP are still open for them. The meaning is clear that if Nitish Kumar himself is feeling as uncomfortable as before in alliance with the political opposition party, especially Lalu Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal, then he should come again with BJP. Can The indication is quite clear that even if Nitish Kumar wants to join hands with the BJP, he can remain the Chief Minister of the state. The BJP, which is preparing to contest the Lok Sabha elections on its own in Punjab, has kept its doors open for its oldest ally Shiromani Akali Dal as well. The indication is quite clear that even though the political situation has changed, the BJP in Punjab has continued to strengthen after its split from the Akali Dal, but in spite of this, if the Akali Dal decides to join the NDA again, the BJP will definitely be on the same path as before. The contest will want more space for itself in the alliance but at the same time it will also maintain the honor of the Badal family.

Remembering Nitish Kumar and Akali Dal in the meeting of NDA MPs, Prime Minister Modi has not only tried to give a political message to these two parties, but along with this, he has also given a clear political message to the current political parties and their MPs involved in the NDA alliance. Tried to convey the message that whatever the BJP’s old allies or BJP’s opponents keep saying about BJP’s attitude, attitude and stand, but today’s BJP is also the BJP of Atal-Advani’s era, which is full of loyal allies of NDA.
