The mood of Moradabad, the Muslim dominated seat of Western UP, is always decided by the Muslim voters here. That is why BJP is not able to establish its footing easily here. In the 17 Lok Sabha elections held here, the Bharatiya Jan Sangh candidate had won only twice in 1967 and 1977, whereas in 2014, BJP’s Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh had won in the Modi wave. In the remaining elections, only the candidates of Congress, Samajwadi Party and Janata Party or Janata Dal have been winning. ST Hasan won the election from here in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. ST Hasan is a capable leader, his political ambition is also very high, but his ambition is not being fulfilled during the tenure of Azam Khan. Ever since Azam Khan, the prominent Muslim face of Samajwadi Party in Western UP, has been in court, ST Hasan has been trying to establish himself in place of Azam Khan in Western UP. Azam, who is going through a bad phase, has realized this. Khan also had it, but he kept waiting for the time and when the election bugle sounded, Azam showed his strength and got ST Hasan’s declared ticket cut, this happened even after he had filed his nomination. Samajwadi Party has made Ruchi Veera its candidate by cutting the ticket of ST Hasan in the last hour on the last day of nomination. All this happened when Akhilesh Yadav had gone to Sitapur jail and met Azam Khan. It is being told that Azam was angry and had even called upon the public to boycott the elections, which had a direct impact on the Samajwadi Party. Affected by the candidates. Azam was angry as to why the tickets for Moradabad and Rampur were declared without his consent. After this, ST Hasan’s ticket was canceled and former Azam MLA Ruchi Veera was declared SP’s candidate from Moradabad.

Former MLA Ruchi Veera is considered close to SP’s senior leader Azam Khan. ST Hasan’s supporters have made serious allegations against Azam Khan. Supporters say that ST Hasan’s ticket has been cut at the behest of SP leader Azam Khan. At present, Azam’s close friend Ruchi Veera has become the official candidate of SP from Moradabad seat. Moradabad District Magistrate Manvendra Singh has also made an official announcement regarding this. Meanwhile, ST Hasan has announced to withdraw his nomination.

Actually, the story of this entire incident started in Sitapur jail. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had reached Sitapur jail on March 22 to meet Azam Khan. During that meeting, SP’s senior leader Azam Khan had put two conditions, one of which was to declare Ruchi Veera as the candidate from Moradabad seat. Ruchi Veera is considered very close to Azam Khan. Besides, Azam Khan had set the second condition for Akhilesh Yadav himself to contest from Rampur Lok Sabha seat, but despite that, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had declared the name of ST Hasan from Moradabad seat on March 24.

After declaring Moradabad MP ST Hasan as the candidate, SP’s strong leader Azam Khan has played the game while staying in jail. On the other hand, due to non-declaration of candidate from Rampur seat, the SP district unit of Rampur held a meeting on Tuesday. In the meeting, it was announced to boycott the elections if Akhilesh Yadav does not contest from Rampur seat. On Tuesday, while the political temperature was rising in Rampur, Azam Khan’s close friend Ruchi Veera reached Lucknow. After meeting Akhilesh, Ruchi Veera left for Moradabad with her symbol, because the next day i.e. Wednesday was the last day of nomination. Samajwadi Party’s already announced candidate ST Hasan had filed his nomination, but by the evening, doubt had arisen over his ticket. As soon as Azam Khan’s close aide Ruchi Veera got the information about getting the symbol from Moradabad seat and declared candidate ST Hasan’s ticket being cut, supporters close to ST Hasan started raising slogans against Ruchi Veera. At present, after Ruchi Veera’s nomination on Wednesday, the entire picture of Moradabad has become clear. Azam Khan’s close aide and former MLA Ruchi Veera became the official candidate of Samajwadi Party.

After being denied ticket, SP MP ST Hasan said that having a ticket or not can not destroy the personality of ST Hasan. The ideology that we have was the ideology of Mulayam Singh Yadav and the ideology that is of Akhilesh Yadav, we are with him. ST Hasan said that I come from Muslim community. It was Akhilesh who sent me to Parliament. He said that now there are no SP candidates. Will take back my form. Along with this, ST Hasan said that once the ticket was given, there was no reason. He said that only Akhilesh Yadav will be able to tell better why the ticket has been cancelled. The SP leader said that Akhilesh is the leader of the party, he can make anyone fight or not make anyone fight. However, Azam Khan has shown a mirror to Hasan Saheb by fulfilling the saying of one blacksmith worth one hundred goldsmiths.
