Prime Minister In the radio address ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Narendra Modi announced the launch of ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ campaign in memory of the immortal martyrs across the country as part of the preparations for Independence Day. Modi said that the echo of Amrit Mahotsav is being heard all over the country. August 15 is drawing near. In such a situation, a big campaign is being started in the whole country. This campaign is for the brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country. The PM said that under this campaign, there will be programs across the country in honor of those who laid down their lives for the nation. Under this campaign, special inscriptions will be installed in village panchayats across the country in the memory of the brave martyrs. An Amrit Kalash Yatra will be taken out. 7,500 urns with soil from villages in different corners of the country will be brought to Delhi. Saplings will also be brought from different parts of the country in this journey. Amrit Vatika will be prepared with this soil and plants near the National War Memorial. This will be a great symbol of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. Last year, the entire country was associated with the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’. This year also people will hoist the tricolor on their homes with full enthusiasm.
