Mysterious disease spreads in China, alert in India, central government asks states to review

Along with this, it has been asked to check the availability of beds in hospitals, medicines and vaccines for influenza, oxygen, antibiotics, PPE kits, testing kits and other materials. All states and union territories have been asked to adopt a revised surveillance strategy in the context of corona infection.
In view of the disease spreading in China, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has also said that the Health Ministry is closely monitoring the increase in cases of respiratory disease spreading among children in China. In view of the disease spreading in China, special instructions have been given to the states to maintain health facilities in hospitals.
In view of the disease spreading in China, the Ministry has clearly said that the risk of the mysterious pneumonia disease affecting India is very less. However, the Government of India has made complete preparations from its side to deal with every kind of emergency. Under this, influenza and respiratory diseases will be closely monitored in children and adolescents. Hospitals have also been instructed to include testing of throat swab samples.
In view of the increasing cases of this disease in China, schools have been closed in the northern part of China. China’s Health Commission says that this problem is occurring due to increase in respiratory infections. Influenza is also the main reason for the increase in cases of this disease.
