A total of 72 people died in a plane crash in Nepal on Sunday, January 15, 2023. The saddest aspect of this accident is that the co-pilot of the plane Anju Khatiwada also died in it. Pilot Kamal KC was flying the plane that fell victim to the accident, while Anju was the co-pilot. Anju had about 100 hours of flying experience.
The unfortunate reality is that after flying this plane he was supposed to get a captain’s certificate. But just before that she passed away in this accident. An unfortunate fact associated with Anju is that her husband was also a pilot and died in a plane crash in 2006.
Anju Khatiwada, co-pilot of the ill-fated #YetiAirlines, was just a few seconds away from landing & fulfilling the requirement to become a Captain. Tragically, her husband (also a co-pilot) had died in a plane crash in 2006. What a terrible & cruel twist of fate ЁЯШв #NepalPlaneCrash pic.twitter.com/w1TpJ0Tl6a

Anju did her schooling in India. After that she took pilot’s education and training with her husband in America. Perhaps, destiny did not approve of Anju becoming a pilot, and she died in this plane crash.
