No one can stop Israel from crushing Hamas: Benjamin Netanyahu

Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said as the war in Gaza completed 100 days that Israel will continue the war until victory against Hamas and no one, including the International Court (ICJ), can stop it. The top UN court held a two-day hearing on South Africa’s allegations that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians.
Israel has completely rejected these allegations. Netanyahu made this statement after the hearing in ICJ. South Africa has requested the court to order Israel to stop its fierce air and ground attacks as an interim step. The headquarters of the ICJ is in The Hague. “Nobody will stop us, not The Hague, not anyone else,” Netanyahu said in televised comments Saturday evening, referring to Iran and its allied militias.
The case before the International Court of Justice is likely to last for years but a decision on interim steps could come within weeks. Court decisions are binding but difficult to enforce. Netanyahu made it clear that Israel would ignore orders to stop fighting, which could lead to its isolation. International pressure on Israel to end the war is increasing. More than 23,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza during this war. Israel argues that ending the war would mean victory for Hamas. Hamas and other terrorists attacked Israel on October 7, killing about 1,200 people, mostly civilians.
Apart from this, more than 250 people were taken hostage. Some of them have been released, some have been confirmed dead and it is believed that more than half are still in captivity. After this attack by Hamas, a fierce war started between Israel and Hamas. Families of the hostages held a 24-hour rally in Tel Aviv on Saturday night, urging the Israeli government to secure the release of their loved ones.
