Non-bailable arrest warrant issued against former Pakistan PM Imran Khan in Toshakhana case

The PTI chairman had secured interim bail in two separate cases – banned money and terrorism cases – after he came to the judicial complex in Islamabad to attend the hearing of the cases.
A court in the federal capital issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal issued the arrest warrant. Earlier, the PTI chairman had secured interim bail in two separate cases – banned money and terrorism cases – after coming to the judicial complex in Islamabad to attend the hearing of the cases.
The former prime minister appeared separately in the Anti-Terrorism Court and the Banking Court. ATC judge Raja Jawad heard the terror case and granted bail till March 9 against furnishing a surety bond of Rs 100,000. Meanwhile, Justice Rakshanda Shaheen confirmed Khan’s bail in the prohibited money case. Islamabad police had filed terror cases against PTI leaders, including Khan, after party workers took to the streets and damaged state property following his disqualification in the Toshakhana reference.
