Obama’s meeting with PM Sunak, why the discussion intensified

Former US President Barack Obama paid a ‘courtesy call’ on March 18 at 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister. According to reports, it was an unannounced private meeting, where the two discussed Artificial Intelligence. Later a spokesperson for PM Sunak said that Obama was doing the work of the Foundation. “I think President Obama’s team reached out and obviously the Prime Minister was very pleased to meet with them and discuss the work of the Obama Foundation,” the spokesperson said. The Barack Obama Foundation is a non-profit organization ‘focused on social mobility’ and was founded by the former President in 2014.

After the meeting, Make America Great Again, or MAGA, supporters, considered loyal to former President Donald Trump, speculated as to why Obama was meeting with foreign leaders. Obama was seen entering Number 10, waving to reporters outside, and leaving about an hour later. Popular Trump supporter and conservative journalist Laura Loomer reached out to Ax asking why Obama was holding private meetings with world leaders. Another user, TheThe1776, claimed that the meeting made it clear that the current Biden administration was actually Obama’s ‘third term’. Obama, who meets with officials in a private meeting, should tell everyone that this is Obama’s third term.

Obama’s private meeting with the British Prime Minister comes amid speculation that Joe Biden’s wife Michelle Obama could run for president amid growing concerns about his age. But the former first lady has so far refrained from making a formal announcement. In fact his office recently denied the speculation.
