New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): A Pakistani court on Friday allowed PTI leaders and lawyers to meet former Prime Minister Imran Khan and hold an election rally ahead of the February 8 elections. This has been said in media reports.
Reports said the orders were passed by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Pakistan media reports said that “Judge Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb gave this order on a petition filed by Imran. In this, he had sought permission to hold a meeting with party members Asad Qaiser, Junaid Akbar Khan, Senator Aurangzeb Khan and friends Mohammad Khan and Ishtiaq Meharban, among others, to chalk out the election strategy.
It said the plea also requested the court to direct the superintendent of Adiala jail to ensure confidentiality for Imran during his consultation with his legal team.
Pakistan has also released the election schedule, while election related activities have started across the country.
“The election program is going on in full swing with the last date for filing nomination papers ending on Sunday,” the report said. The returning officer will scrutinize the nomination papers from December 25 to December 30. ,
