Pak Journalist Hamid Mir’s disclosure- The fear of Indian Army is badly in the mind of Pakistani Army

In an interview with UK-based Pakistani media ‘UK44’, Hamid Mir quoted former Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s opinion regarding Pakistan’s military power. He pointed out that while serving as the Army Chief, General Bajwa had accepted that Pakistan “cannot go to war with India”. Hamid Mir said that General Bajwa had said this in a conference of commanders.

According to Hamid Mir, during the commanders’ conference, General Bajwa had confessed that ‘the Pakistan Army is no match for the Indian Army’. Hamid Mir also claimed that seeing no alternative, General Bajwa had offered to mend his ways to have normal relations with India. Not only this, a report in the Pakistani newspaper Dawn also says that Pakistan was delaying the elections due to the threat of war with India as India’s fear was one of the security issues for it. Therefore, a report was also submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan by the Ministry of Defense for the delay in the general elections in Pakistan.

However, recent revelations by Hamid Mir have raised serious questions about the Pakistani army’s ability to face Indian soldiers. It is believed that after the surgical strike and air strike by the Indian Army and Air Force, there is a lot of fear in the mind of Pakistan. The Pakistani army feels that the Indian army can enter and go back anytime after fighting. Such incidents have started making fun of the Pakistani army in its own country. The fear of attack was haunting. Former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Khwaja Mohammad Asif had also said in the Pakistani Parliament that the fear of the Indian Army has settled in Bajwa’s mind. This is the reason why in the last days of his tenure, Bajwa said that it was time for India and Pakistan to “forget the past and move forward”.
