Khalistan Tiger Force Chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar was the third most wanted Khalistani who died within a month. For a long time, he was living in Lahore and carrying out his activities from there itself.
There is also suspense over the death of Waris Punjab De Ke Khanda last week. He is said to have died in a hospital in Birmingham. In January 2020, Harmeet Singh alias Happy PhD was shot dead near Lahore. Investigating agencies said he was instrumental in training Khalistan Liberation Force modules in India and some Gulf countries.

The wanted list also includes Wadhwa Singh Babbar alias Chacha, Lakhbir Singh alias Rode, Ranjit Singh alias Neeta, Bhupinder Singh Bhinda, Gurmeet Singh Bagga, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, Paramjeet Singh alias Pamma, Arshdeep Singh Gill alias Arsh Dala and Harvinder Singh Sandhu. All of them are accused of violence in the name of Khalistan. Ripudaman Singh Malik, 75, was shot dead on June 15, 2022, in Surrey, Canada.
Malik and co-accused Ajaib Singh Bagri were acquitted in 2005 of charges of mass murder and conspiracy related to the 1985 bombing of Air India Flight 182. 329 people were killed in this incident. Malik was associated with the Babbar Khalsa.
