The price of food in Pakistan is skyrocketing
Don told that a family in rural Pakistan had to pay only 10,000 rupees last year for the food which was costing 14,700 Pakistani rupees in February this year. Not only this, in urban areas, now this food has to be bought for Rs 14,190. It has been said in the report that this situation in Pakistan can continue for a long time because last year the country had to face terrible floods and many crops were destroyed in it.

Dawn said that this food is not being officially sourced from Iran, but is being smuggled through the Balochistan border and Afghanistan. Pakistan is currently facing a serious economic crisis and the country is in danger of defaulting.
