Pakistan government warned of civil war, people of Gilgit Baltistan threatened to join India

Discontent and unrest have once again spread in the Gilgit Baltistan region of Pakistan. Local people gathered in large numbers to protest against the Pakistani government and were seen demanding the immediate release of their leaders. The local people also threatened the Pakistani government with civil war and said that they would merge with India if their demands were not met. In a video posted on Twitter, a local leader can be seen addressing a large crowd gathered near a mosque in Skardu, Gilgit Baltistan. The leaders clearly say that if the Pakistani government dares to arrest their leaders, they will break down the doors of Kargil, hinting that they will join India.

Slogans are raised and vows are taken not to fear anyone. The leader says as the crowd roars, we will go to Kargil and no one will be able to stop us. The leader says when the frenzy of the crowd reaches its peak. Remove these terrorists, I have two FIRs, why are we being instigated. Earlier also there used to be mass gatherings. Skardu in Gilgit Baltistan witnessed massive protests by Shia Muslims over FIR against Shia cleric in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan.

There is resentment among the people of the community regarding this. After this, a large number of people have protested against the Pakistani government in Skardu.
