In another incident, two soldiers and eight terrorists were killed in a gunfight in Pakistan’s restive northwestern region. The Pakistan Army said on Saturday that a heavy exchange of fire broke out between security forces and terrorists during a raid on a hideout in South Waziristan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The army said arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists.
