Bengaluru (Best Hindu News): A Pakistani woman citizen who married an Indian man after crossing the border has been deported back to her country. The police gave this information on Tuesday. Investigation revealed that 19-year-old Iqra Jiwani has no suspicious or criminal background. She came to India only to marry her lover Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Bellandur police arrested her along with her husband on January 23. Pakistan’s Iqra Yadav met Mulayam Singh Yadav of India through the online game Ludo. They fell in love and decided to get married.
Iqra moved to Kathmandu, Nepal without informing her parents. She entered India through the Birgunj border in Bihar. Both had reached Bengaluru on September 28, 2022 and started living in a rented house at Junnasandra near Sarjapur Road. Yadav had got his Aadhaar card made in the name of Rava Yadav and had also applied for a passport.
Central investigative agencies tracked his parents in Pakistan and informed the local police. The police team arrested Iqra and Mulayam Singh Yadav and produced them before the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
Officials confirmed that Iqra has been deported back to Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border. According to sources, the probe has revealed that both Iqra and Mulayam do not have criminal or questionable background.
The investigation was carried out by the local police and central agencies. The two remained in a relationship for four years, after which the girl decided to cross the border and be with him.
When the authorities began preparations to deport her to Pakistan, Iqra refused to return.
Police sources revealed that he requested the authorities not to deport him back to Pakistan. The young woman claimed that since she was married to an Indian, she should be allowed to stay here with him.
Sources said the officials approached the Pakistan government in this regard and the process took about two months.
