It is being told that on behalf of the Attorney General’s Office of the Pakistani Supreme Court, it was said that Khan is being served mutton and chicken made in desi ghee inside the jail. Let us discuss here that recently Punjab’s IG Prison Mian Farooq Nazir had visited Attock Jail to know the condition of Imran Khan. After his visit, the cameras installed in Imran Khan’s barrack were also ordered to be removed. This is so that their privacy is not violated.

Local media reported on Tuesday that former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is being served desi chicken and mutton in Attock Jail. The Supreme Court of Pakistan, which had earlier sought a report on Imran Khan’s living conditions, was informed that the prison authorities were providing him proper security. Let us discuss here that after being convicted in the Toshakhana case, Imran Khan was sentenced to three years imprisonment, after which he was arrested and kept in Attock Jail. According to the jail administration, Imran Khan has been given the facility of bed, chair, air cooler, worship room, copy of Quran, books, newspapers, food, personal belongings and a medical team in the jail.

Earlier, a new toilet was built in his cell after former Prime Minister Imran Khan complained to the court about poor living facilities and lack of privacy. A door was also installed in this five feet high toilet. A senior jail officer of the Punjab government had given information about this recently. The judge expressed concern that there was no privacy for Khan in the toilet. It was told on this that a new toilet has been made in the PTI chairman’s cell. The wall of the toilet is five feet high and a door has also been installed.

If you remember, Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi had said recently that Imran Khan’s health is rapidly deteriorating in jail and his life is in danger. He had expressed apprehension that Imran Khan could be poisoned in the jail. It is noteworthy that Imran Khan was arrested on 5 August from his Lahore residence.
