His rival Omar Ayub Khan of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) got 92 votes.
Shahbaz said, “There are such talented people sitting in this Parliament who can sail Pakistan, these include journalists, intellectuals, leaders, religious leaders.” He said that there was a big challenge and opportunity in front of Pakistan. . He said, “If we come together and decide to change the destiny of Pakistan, then Inshallah, we will overcome these challenges and take Pakistan to its rightful place.” He said that this task is difficult. , but not impossible.
