Lima. A massive fire at a gold mine in southern Peru has killed at least 27 workers working there during the night shift. The officers provided this information. A total of 175 workers were safely evacuated after the accident in the early hours of Saturday, mine company Yanaquihua said in a statement. The statement said that the 27 laborers who lost their lives were working for a contractor who provides training in mining operations.
