There is news of plane crash from Nepal on Sunday morning. A passenger plane crashed between Nepal’s old airport and Pokhara International Airport. This aircraft belonged to Yeti Airlines. The Nepal government called an emergency cabinet meeting after the passenger plane crash at Pokhara airport.
Yeti Airlines spokesperson Sudarshan Bartaula has told the media that there were a total of 68 passengers and four crew members on board the aircraft. There were 10 foreign nationals including 2 children among the passengers. According to the Nepal Airport Authority, there were 53 Nepalese, 5 Indians, 4 Russians, one Irish, 2 Koreans, 1 Argentine and a French national on board the aircraft. After the accident, the entire plane was burnt to ashes. Relief and rescue work is going on. A Nepal Army spokesman said that 16 bodies had been retrieved till noon. Currently the airport is closed.
A video is becoming quite viral on social media, in which an aircraft is seen flying towards the ground after losing its balance. After a few seconds there is a sound of explosion. This video is being told of the moments before the Nepal plane crash. Although it has not been officially confirmed.
