Zabihullah Amiri, head of Badakhshan’s information and culture department, said a passenger plane crashed in the Topkhana mountains along the Koran-Munjan and Zibak districts of Badakhshan province. After this it got crushed in the mountainous area of Jibak district. Till now, information has not been received as to how many passengers were on board this plane. According to the information, a team has been sent to the area to investigate. According to local people, the plane crashed on Sunday morning. Earlier, information had come that this is an Indian aircraft, but Indian government sources have denied this. Afghan media has not given information about the cause of the plane crash.
