New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday released the 13th installment of PM Kisan. Under this, an amount of more than Rs 16,000 crore was transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer to the accounts of more than eight crore beneficiaries. Under this scheme, Rs 6,000 per year is given to the beneficiary families through three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. PM released the 13th installment of PM-KISAN at an event held in Belagavi, Karnataka. The scheme was launched in the year 2019 and under it till now, an amount of more than Rs 2.25 lakh crore has been disbursed to more than 11 crore farmer families. This includes most of the small and marginal farmers.

Officials say Rs 1.75 lakh crore was disbursed in several installments to help small and marginal farmers facing hardships during the Covid lockdown. The scheme has also benefitted more than three crore women beneficiaries, who have collectively received funds of over Rs 53,600 crore. Under this scheme, the 11th and 12th installments were given in May and October last year. On this occasion, PM Modi said that when we came to power in the year 2014, the agriculture budget was Rs 25,000 crore and now it is more than Rs 1,25,000 crore.

Sitting at home, you can know whether PM-Kisan money has come to your account or not. For this, first of all go to the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in. Click on the ‘Farmers Corner’ tab given on the website. In this, you have to click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option. A new page will open here. On this, the farmer will have to choose the option of either his Aadhaar number, bank account number or mobile number. After selecting the option, the details have to be given. The status of the installment will appear as soon as you click on Get Data. By this you will know whether the money came in your account or not.

If PM Kisan money has not come in your account, then you can register a complaint on the helpline number and email ID. The helpline number of PM Kisan is 155261. Apart from this, complaints can also be lodged on PM Kisan toll free number 18001155266 and PM Kisan landline number 011-23381092, 011-24300606. Apart from this, you can also send a complaint to the e-mail id [email protected]. The government had made e-KYC mandatory for registered farmers. Those farmers who did not get e-KYC done, their money did not come. Farmers will get money after getting e-KYC done.
