Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Egypt at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdul El Sisi. He gave this invitation in January 2023. When he visited India as the chief guest.

The Prime Minister spoke on every aspect, be it international issues or Indo-US relations. There has been talk of cultural, strategic, diplomatic relations. Prime Minister Modi has kept India’s stand clear on all issues. Now after the completion of the US tour, the Prime Minister left for Egypt from Washington where people are eagerly waiting for him.
Egypt is ready to welcome Prime Minister Modi. PM’s visit to Egypt will be of two days. Before PM’s visit, India’s Ambassador to Cairo Ajit Gupte said that India and Egypt are two of the oldest civilizations and our relations go back more than four thousand years. We have had maritime links for centuries and in recent years, especially after the coming to power of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Prime Minister Modi, ties have grown stronger.
Let us inform that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Egypt on the invitation of Egyptian President Abdul Al Sisi. He gave this invitation in January 2023. When he visited India as the chief guest. This will be PM Modi’s first visit to Egypt. People of the Indian community living in Egypt are also ready to welcome PM Modi. Prime Minister Modi will pay a state visit to Egypt on 24 and 25 June. The Prime Minister will hold talks with President Sisi, besides senior dignitaries from the Government of Egypt and some prominent personalities and the Indian community. The Prime Minister will spend about half an hour at the Al-Hakim Mosque – a historic and prominent mosque in Cairo named after the 16th Fatimid Caliph Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah (985-1021). During his first visit, PM Modi will pay tribute to the brave Indian soldiers who fought and died in Egypt and Palestine during World War I.
