New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday thanked Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for hosting the next Quad summit in Sydney, Australia. The Quad Security Summit will be held on May 24 in Sydney. PM Modi expressed his thanks on Wednesday in response to Albanese’s tweet. Earlier, Albanese tweeted about hosting the conference in Sydney, saying, hosting our Quad partners in Sydney next month will be an opportunity for Australia to help shape the region we all want to live in . The meeting, to be held at the Sydney Opera House on 24 May, will be Australia’s first time hosting a Quad leaders’ summit. Apart from PM Modi and Albanese, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and US President Joe Biden will participate in the summit. Reports quoting Albanese said the summit would discuss the global economic environment, which is under pressure due to inflationary pressures.
