Sydney : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on Australia tour. His visit began on Tuesday morning after a meeting with Australian green energy and technology firm Fortescue Future Industries. The Prime Minister also met Paul Schroder, CEO of Australian Super in Sydney. PM Modi reached Australia from Papua New Guinea on Monday as the last stop of his three-nation tour. Over the next two days, the Prime Minister will meet Australian businessmen and leaders and address the Indian community. During this he will also hold a bilateral meeting with his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese.

People of the Indian community welcomed PM Modi who arrived in Australia with slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. The Prime Minister will address the Indian community at a grand event to be held at the Kudos Park Arena in Sydney’s Olympic Park on Tuesday. More than 25,000 people are expected to participate in the event. The event is being organized by the Indian-Australian Diaspora Foundation. This is PM Modi’s second visit to Australia since 2014.

Prime Minister of Australia Albanese said before the visit of PM Modi that it is an honor for me to host Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is coming on an official visit to Australia. He said he looked forward to visiting New Delhi in September for the G20 Leaders’ Summit, the world’s premier forum for economic cooperation. Regarding the relations between India and Australia, PM Modi said that mutual trust between the two countries has changed over time into cooperation, especially on defense and security matters.

From here he reached Papua New Guinea and reached Sydney on Monday.
