Additionally, protesters blocked Interstate Highway 5 in Eugene and Oregon, disrupting traffic on the highway for about 45 minutes.

Chicago resident Madeline Hannon said she was supposed to board a plane from O’Hare to Florida, but due to the protests she and her husband were stranded for 20 minutes. He said that in such a situation he got out of his car and ran for 1.6 kilometers to reach the airport. Hannon said that although she got there on time, she faced difficulties. According to the Chicago Aviation Department, operations at the airport started 15 minutes late and were normal after that. At the same time, traffic on the route leading to O’Hare Airport also became normal again around 9 am.
