Around the same time, pro-Palestinian protesters blocked a major road leading to the Los Angeles airport. The police department said that traffic around the airport was affected for two hours.

Police said the demonstration was illegal and the protesters fled when policemen arrived. At present it is not known how many people have been arrested in Los Angeles. New York Mayor Eric Adams criticized these demonstrations and said that the police need to be more vigilant.
