Holi a threat to Islam?
It has been said in the order that many activities related to the destruction of Islamic values are being organized in the college campus. This is very sad. One such example is the Hindu festival Holi. Holi is celebrated on a large scale in the universities of Pakistan. Due to this festival, the image of the country is getting affected badly. Along with this, the commission announced a ban on it. Some students are strongly opposing this order.
Questions raised on the government
Some students have said that the government of the country has to understand that Holi Diwali is a part of Sindhi culture. The government of Pakistan neither accepts Sindhi language nor gives any respect to Hindu festivals. Students say that what will Pakistani politicians who have declared themselves as champions of human rights do now. Along with this, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has been asked whether he will raise any voice against this ban or not?
