Vehicle manufacturers’ organization Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) said in a statement issued on Friday that retail sales in October jumped 16 percent year-on-year to 3,89,714 units, compared to 3,36,330 units in October last year. Was. A maximum of 76,940 three-wheelers were supplied during this period, whereas last year 54,154 units were supplied. Thus this is 42 percent more than the number. SIAM President Vinod Aggarwal said both passenger and three-wheeler vehicles have recorded the highest ever sales in October. The two-wheeler segment also recorded good sales in the month of October, 2023. He said all three segments have registered double digit growth.
