RSS is making rapid efforts on the path to fulfill its resolve to make India a world leader again.

The All India Executive Board of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, amidst the ongoing tug of war between various countries at the international level, the long-running war between Russia and Ukraine and the Hamas-Israel war that started more than a month ago, The meeting started on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 9 am in Bhuj, Gujarat. The meeting was started by the most respected Sir Sanghchalak Dr. Mohan ji Bhagwat and Sir Karyavah Shri Dattatreya ji Hosabale by offering floral tributes in front of the picture of Bharat Mata. From the point of view of the Sangh, about 382 representatives from across the country, including Honorable Sanghchalaks, Karyavahs, Pracharaks, All India Executive members and All India Organization Ministers of some diverse organizations from 45 provinces and 11 regions participated in the meeting.

In the said meeting, review of the plan made for expansion of work in view of Sangh centenary and detailed discussion on Sangh training exercise sequence was completed. Besides, some of the main topics discussed in the Vijaya Dashami address of the most respected Sir Sanghachalak Dr. Mohan Ji Bhagwat like lifestyle against nature, impact of climate change on the world, security, self-based age-appropriate policy, etc. were also discussed in detail. . Information was also taken from the representatives about the ongoing efforts in social harmony, family enlightenment, cow service, rural development and other activities. This meeting concluded on 7 November 2023 at 6 pm.

In many countries of the world, including developed countries, the social fabric has collapsed. Today, the concept of “single parent” is gaining momentum in many countries of the world including America. Almost 50 percent of the children have no information about their father. The physical, mental and intellectual development of a child can be done in the right way only by living in a family or by the mother and father working together. In these countries, due to the upbringing of the child only by the mother or father, the mental and intellectual development of the child is not happening properly and these children are lagging behind in terms of higher level education. Today, very few children in America are able to study science and mathematics at a high level, due to which these children are seen doing some odd jobs in the service sector. Secondly, in many countries including India, citizens are being made to fight among themselves on the basis of different castes, beliefs and creeds and there is a complete lack of mutual brotherhood and trust among the citizens in the society, due to which the lack of social harmony is clearly visible. : It is becoming visible. Also, the situation regarding the environment has become serious almost all over the world. Especially in developed countries, the lifestyle of the citizens has become such that instead of exploiting nature, nature is being exploited. Forests are disappearing, natural resources are being overused, due to which there is pressure on the environment. At some places it is raining for the whole year in a single day, while at some places it is not raining at all. This type of imbalance is creating serious problems for citizens globally.

As far as India is concerned, cultural organizations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are seen discussing the above topics seriously and making efforts to solve these problems.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is busy preparing to celebrate its centenary in 2025. On the occasion of its centenary year, the Sangh has strongly placed before the society five dimensions which are very important for the society in the context of today’s circumstances. The volunteers of the Sangh will implement these dimensions at their level and branch level, after this the society is also expected to cooperate in implementing these dimensions at their level. The first dimension is to establish social harmony in the society. There should be absolutely no untouchability and caste discrimination in the society. Every citizen living in India is an Indian, then why division into different castes? To establish their rule over India, the British had adopted the policy of dividing and ruling Indian citizens into different castes. In today’s context, when India is moving towards becoming a world leader, then it is expected from every citizen of India to increase their contribution in the progress of the country by maintaining trust among themselves. Therefore, all of us Indians should not accept any kind of discrimination based on birth. From this point of view, social harmony has great importance today and we should make serious efforts to implement it in our lives.

The second dimension is family enlightenment. We should make serious efforts to hand over Indian values ​​of life and cultural values ​​to our future generations in every family of India. Every Indian family must do two things in their life. Firstly, we should continue to do some service work towards the society, and secondly, we should also be conscious to protect our Sanatan culture and our religion. Especially in Saurashtra and Gujarat, this work is being done extensively by the citizens. But, these should be spread across the country. Also, this work should be done in all classes at all levels.

The third dimension is to protect the environment. Amidst today’s adverse circumstances, there is a need for the citizens of the society to take up the task of planting trees in large numbers. Also, serious efforts need to be made to stop the use of polythene and save water. Only society can do this work. Recently, in Jodhpur province of Rajasthan (about one-third of Rajasthan geographically), Sangh workers have completed a 45-day yatra dedicated to the environment. More than 15 lakh trees have been planted during this yatra. This journey has been of 14000 kilometers. Similarly, a plan has been made to plant one crore trees in Karnataka also. Similar work should be done by volunteers at other places also to protect the environment by involving citizens in the society.

The fourth dimension is the indigenous lifestyle. To make India self-reliant in every field, it has now become necessary for the citizens to adopt a self-based lifestyle. Along with being proud of our mother tongue, maximum use of products made in India should be promoted. Swadeshi lifestyle not only includes the use of local goods but also follows the eternal culture of India. Therefore, today every Indian citizen should develop a sense of self so that the feeling of dedication towards the nation can develop.

The fifth dimension is civic duty. Today, India has become the fastest growing economy in the entire world and has also become the fifth largest economy in the world. Amidst these circumstances, it has become necessary for Indian citizens to be cautious in the discharge of their duties. Citizens should follow discipline in every field. Being an Indian citizen, we have certain duties as per our Constitution. These duties should be discharged with seriousness. For this, it is necessary to create awareness among the volunteers to perform their duties at their own level, at the level of their family, at the level of their branch and at the level of the wider society.

Similarly, there are many institutions in the society, monasteries, temples, business institutions, schools, hospitals, awareness has to be brought in all these institutions so that every part of the society can become aware of performing its duties. Also, how can various schools be taken on board for work related to environmental activities, how can monasteries and temples be taken on board for the purpose of establishing social harmony in the society, how can business institutions be taken on board for the purpose of promoting indigenous products? Can promote usage. These issues should be seriously considered and the entire society should be taken along to work successfully on the above five dimensions.
