Changes in NPS withdrawal rules
PFRDA has made a big change regarding withdrawal from NPS account. Under this, now investors will be able to withdraw only 25 percent of the total deposited amount from their account. For withdrawal, the account must be at least three years old. The withdrawal period has also been limited.
Changes in IMPS rules
There is going to be a big change in the rules of IMPS also. Now, to transfer any fund above Rs 5 lakh, it will be necessary to add the name of the beneficiary. NCPI had issued a circular for this on 31 October. Under this, money can be sent from one account to another by linking the account number and mobile number of the account holder.
KYC will have to be done in Fastag
According to the order issued by the National Road Transport and Highways Authority of India, those Fastags whose KYC has not yet been updated will become inactive after January 31. In such a situation, first check the KYC of your Fastag.
New installment of SGB is being released
The Reserve Bank of India will issue the final tranche of Sovereign Gold Bond (SBG) in the 2023-24 series in February 2024. SGB 2023-24 Series IV will open on February 12, 2024 and close on February 16, 2024. The last series opened on 18 December and closed on 22 December. The central bank had fixed the issue price of gold at Rs 6,199 per gram.
