Why is titanium important

Ukraine is one of the seven countries in the world that have reserves of titanium pieces from which titanium metal is made. China and Russia, which are America’s rivals, are included in this group of seven countries. According to the US Geological Survey, China produced 231,000 tonnes of titanium last year. This is 57 percent of the world’s total production. It is followed by Japan with 17 per cent, followed by Russia with 13 per cent.

Kazakhstan produced about 18000 tons of titanium and Ukraine produced more than 4000 tons of titanium. America is afraid that if Russia occupies Ukraine, then it can stop its exports as well. Due to this, its aerospace and defense companies may be in trouble. Many types of arguments are being given by Russian President Vladimir Putin and his associates regarding the war. Capture of Ukraine’s titanium reserves is an important objective of Russia.
