The television channel reported that according to preliminary information, the death toll in the accident reached 20 and the total number of injured was around 29. It said the victims had “different nationalities”, but did not specify them. The burnt shell of the bus is visible in the footage. The city of Mecca is full of pilgrims during the month of Ramadan. It is attended by a large number of locals and many from other countries as well.
