SC ready to fight at Zuckerberg’s house, Meta founder says: ‘It’s time to move on’

san francisco (Best Hindu News): As Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg took a dig at each other on Sunday ahead of their upcoming cage fight at an epic venue in Italy, the Tesla CEO challenged the Meta founder to fight in his backyard on Monday .
Musk posted a chat with Zuckerberg on X (formerly Twitter), saying he would be in Palo Alto (California) on Monday and offered to fight by visiting Zuckerberg’s “Octagon.”
Zuckerberg apparently sent the message to Musk: “If you still want to do a real MMA fight, you should train yourself and let me know when you’re ready to compete.”
Zuckerberg said, “I don’t want to hype up something that’s never going to happen, so you either have to decide you’re going to do it and do it soon, or we can move on.”
Musk replied: “Besides a brief sparring with Lex Friedman today, I haven’t been practicing much. While I think it’s highly unlikely, given our size difference, maybe you’re a modern Bruce Lee and will somehow win.”
American author-journalist Walter Isaacson first posted that Musk was asking Zuckerberg to fight at his home in Palo Alto, California.
In a tweet, Isaacson, who has been president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, a non-partisan policy studies organization, said: “I received this text message from Elon Musk at 4:44 am CT, showing a screenshot of some of the text messages In which he tells Zuckerberg he should fight this Monday at Zuckerberg’s house in Palo Alto.”
Zuckerberg later posted on the threads that “I think we can all agree that Elon is not serious and it’s time to move on.”
The Meta founder said, “I offered an actual date. Dana White offered to make it a legitimate competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead.”
She said, “If Elon ever gets serious about an actual date and official schedule, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, it’s time to move on. “I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the game seriously,” Zuckerberg said.
The Meta founder and CEO previously said he was “not holding his breath” to get Musk to agree on a date for the fight.
Musk had said he was in touch with the Italian prime minister and culture minister to host the event.
However, Zuckerberg said no date has been agreed upon.
Zuckerberg, 39, holds a blue belt in jiu-jitsu and recently won gold and silver medals in a tournament.
