Share Market Opening: Amid strong signals from the global market, the Indian stock market witnessed a stormy rise today on the fourth trading day of the week. At 7.45 am, a gain of 180 points was seen in GIFT Nifty Futures. After this, as soon as the Indian market opened, Sensex and Nifty reached their all-time high amid the market rally. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex jumped 796.64 points in early trade to reach its all-time high of 70,381.24. Nifty rose by 222.1 points to reach a record level of 21,148.45. Among Sensex companies, shares of Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Wipro, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Tata Consultancy Services, Bajaj Finserv and ICICI Bank were among the gainers. Shares of Power Grid, Nestle, Asian Paints and Hindustan Unilever remained in loss. In other Asian markets, China’s Shanghai, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, South Korea’s Kospi were in profit, while Japan’s Nikkei was in loss. American markets closed on a positive note on Wednesday. Global oil standard Brent crude was trading at $ 74.48 per barrel with a gain of 0.30 percent. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 4,710.86 crore on Wednesday.
