Stocks to Watch Today: Amidst the strong signals from the global market, the Indian stock market can get off to a good start today. A gain of 180 points in GIFT Nifty futures as of 7:45 am on Thursday indicates that equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty are set for a bumper start. The US Fed left rates on hold last night and plans to cut at least 3 rates next year, triggering a global equity rally. In America, Dow jumped 1.4 percent and reached a new high. S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite also gained 1.38 percent. Nikkei lagged behind in Asia with a fall of 0.3 percent. The Hang Seng, Kospi and S&P/ASX 200 each rose 1.4 percent.
IRCTC:The company is eyeing a major expansion in non-railway catering business across India. It has already signed MoUs with various governments and autonomous bodies as it aims to become a leading brand of hospitality and catering.
Fusion Micro FinanceAccording to the report of CNBC TV-18, Honey Rose Investments, a branch of global private equity firm Warburg Pincus, can sell 9.25 percent stake in the company through a block deal today. The deal size is Rs 500 crore and the floor price is Rs 535.
state Bank of India: The lender will sign a credit line worth 70 million euros with KfW (German Development Bank) to support solar PV projects in India.
UltraTech Cement: The company said it plans to increase the overall share of green energy in its total energy mix to 85 percent by 2030. It aims to increase its total green energy share from the current 22 percent to 60 percent by FY 2026.
uno minda: The company has commissioned its new automotive seating system plant under subsidiary Uno Minda Tachi-S (UMTS) Sitting at Bhagapura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The plant will manufacture mechanical parts for automotive seats for passenger cars. UMTS has already received orders from OEMs and expects to commence supplies by Q4FY24.
RBL Bank: The lender has acquired 8.51 per cent stake in Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) for an all-cash consideration of Rs 40 crore.
PNC Infratech:The company has accepted Rs 394 crore from NHAI to settle the dispute raised by its subsidiary.
NBCC (India):The company received an important order of Rs 1,500 crore from NCDC.
biocon: With the completion of Bicara Therapeutics Inc’s $165 million Series C financing round, the biotech company said it is no longer a subsidiary of Biocon.
PCBL: The board meeting will be held on December 16 to consider and evaluate the proposals to raise funds.
Vedanta: The company will consider and approve the second interim dividend on December 18.
Asian Granito:The company inaugurated a 3,000 sq. ft showroom in Hyderabad, showcasing premium GVT tiles and gorgeous slabs collection.
