Police said gunmen opened fire on a vehicle carrying seven people, including tribal leader Ahmed Khan Kibzai, and two of his brothers, killing all of them in the incident.
Police said the gunmen fired at the vehicle with automatic weapons. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Police said that Kibzai had local enmity and that may have led to the attack. The deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan province is adding to the woes of the federal government which is already trying to revive the country’s economy.
