On the last day of the week, the Indian stock market closed with a spectacular rise. But there were ups and downs in the market throughout the day. In the afternoon, a jump of 1445 points was seen in Sensex and 430 points in Nifty. At the end of today’s market, BSE Sensex closed at 72,085 with a jump of 440 points and NSE Nifty closed at 21,854 points with a jump of 156 points.

In today’s business, buying has been seen in stocks of sectors like IT, Auto, Pharma, Metals, Energy, Infra, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Consumer Durables. Whereas there has been a decline in the stocks of banking, FMCG and financial sectors. Talking about, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 stocks closed with gains and 8 closed with losses, while out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 39 stocks closed with gains and 11 stocks closed with losses.
In today’s trading, the stock of Power Grid closed with a rise of 4.10 percent, NTPC 3.34 percent, TCS 2.98 percent, Tata Steel 2.89 percent, Wipro 2.52 percent, Infosys 2.26 percent, Tech Mahindra 2.21 percent. While Axis Bank closed with a fall of 1.42 percent, HDFC Bank 1.33 percent, HUL 0.81 percent, ITC 0.60 percent, Larsen 0.57 percent, Titan Company closed with a fall of 0.34 percent.
