Share Market: Stormy movement of Indian market, Sensex jumped by 645 points, Nifty also crossed 19,653.

Share Market Opening: After the holiday on Tuesday, the Indian stock market has got off to a good start today amid strong global cues. As soon as the market opened, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 645.08 points to reach 65,578.95. 25 out of 30 Sensex stocks are trading with green mark. Whereas, Nifty was trading 209.8 points higher at 19,653.35. On Nifty 50, 47 out of fifty stocks are trading with green mark. Red mark is visible in only three stocks. Currently, 2829 shares are being traded on BSE and out of these, 2121 shares are bullish. Whereas, there is a decline in 550 shares and 158 shares are seen trading without any change in the market today at 9.30 am.

Rupee rises by 32 paise at 83.01 per dollar in early trade

The rupee rose by 32 paise to reach 83.01 against the US dollar in early trade. Forex traders said that the rupee opened higher due to weakening of the American currency after US inflation fell to its lowest level since September 2021. At the same time, the positive trend of domestic markets boosted investor sentiment. In the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened at 83.03 against the dollar and then reached 83.01. This is an increase of 32 paise from the previous closing price. The rupee had closed at 83.33 against the US dollar on Monday. The stock market and currency market were closed on Tuesday on the occasion of Diwali Balipratipada. Meanwhile, the dollar index, which reflects the position of the US dollar against six major currencies of the world, rose by 0.02 percent to reach 104.07. Global oil standard Brent crude was trading at $ 82.76 per barrel with a gain of 0.35 percent. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) had sold shares worth Rs 1,244.44 crore on Monday.
