Share Market Today: The Indian stock market opened on the decline on the third trading day of the week i.e. Wednesday. Both the major indices Sensex and Nifty opened on the red mark.

On Wednesday, the BSE Sensex opened down 244.54 points at 61,737.25 points. Similarly, the NSE Nifty opened at a level of 18,274.55 points down by 73.45 points. Out of 30 Sensex shares, 25 shares are down while 5 are up.
The rise and fall of these stocks
Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid, Tech Mahindra, Dr. Reddy’s, Britannia, Bajaj Auto and Apollo Hospital. Whereas, the list of top losers includes Hindalco, M&M, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, HDFC, Adani Ports SEZ and IndusInd Bank.

Earlier in the last trading session, the market was on the decline. On Tuesday, the 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex had closed at 61,981, up 18 points or 0.38%. At the same time, the Nifty index climbed 19 points to close at 18,333.
