Mumbai: The stock market has started with a boom today. There is a boom in the market since morning. On the BSE, 1,903 stocks are up and 1,177 are down. The shares of Adani Group companies are seeing a boom even today. Shares of Adani Transmission, Adani Green Energy and Adani Power have gained more than one per cent. Whereas BSE Utilities and BSE Power are the best performing sectors in the market. BSE Consumer Durables and BSE Oil & Gas also posted decent gains. At 10:20 am, the BSE Sensex was up 0.13% at 62,064. The Nifty 50 index had gained 0.09% to reach a level of 18,365. On Sensex, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid Corporation of India and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top gainers. While IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors and HDFC Bank were among the market pullers.

The broad indices have significantly outperformed the core indices. Shares of BSE’s top smallcap gainer Deep Industries Ltd. rallied over 9%. Shares of Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited and Dreamfolks Services Limited also witnessed heavy buying. Given below is the list of stocks engaged on the Upper Circuit today.
