New Delhi: Under the Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) has provided working capital to the Janaushadhi centers along with the necessary capital to start 15 thousand new centers to be opened in the next two years. On Tuesday, it was announced to launch a credit assistance program in collaboration with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).
Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers and Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya launched this loan assistance program for Jan Aushadhi Centers here. An MoU was exchanged between SIDBI and PMBI in his presence. He also launched a website for loan assistance to Jan Aushadhi Kendras. On this occasion, he honored Mrs. Sangeeta Raj, who runs the Janaushadhi Kendra in Mayur Vihar, East Delhi of the capital, which has received working capital from SIDBI, with a certificate of appreciation.
Along with this, he also honored the people involved in making this loan assistance program successful. On this occasion, PMBI CEO Ravi Dadhich and SIDBI Chairman and Managing Director Sivasubramaniam Raman along with officials of PMBI and SIDBI, senior officials of the Department of Financial Services and Department of Chemicals of the Finance Ministry were present.
