The teams determined that the transmissions from Voyager 2, Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 have already reached at least one star. Pioneer 10’s transmission reached a white dwarf star in 2002. Other signals will collide with 222 strings until 2313. The team said in its report that we can expect transmission to return in 2029 at the ‘earliest’. Voyager 1 and New Horizons’ signals have reached their first stars in the near future.
